I found a two books which were published in 1952 and one that say 56-66 thousand an another 66-75 thousand in their descriptions. May I know what do they mean with thousands?

It indicates the printing runs (and maybe the editions if changes had been applied).
And the number of books printed.


Your older book was printed in 10,000 samples, making the number of printed samples rise from 56,000 to 66,000.

Similar for the the younger sample.

...and there are so many editions, presumably every year since they it was first published. I look no further than Rolleiflex 2.8F and Rolleicord Vb and may I know which of those editions cover these cameras.

I do not know as a I never came across that book. So much about high printing runs...
