Darkrooms in Vancouver/Burnaby

Hey everyone,
I've been toying around with the idea of printing a lot of my B&W street photography in the darkroom. Considered going digital printing via my scans but the cost of printer + ink + paper is very prohibitive for the quality I want.

Does anyone know of good community darkrooms to join? I'd love to build my own bathroom darkroom but my apartment is very small (it is Vancouver we're talking about...) with very minimal space for storage too.

I think the Dunbar darkroom is down and out. There is still the West End Community Darkroom downtown, and UBC Photosoc is considering opening up membership to community (IE, non-student/alumni members) when our new facilities open in January 2018.

In the Beau Photo newsletter this month they have ads for two darkroom, West End Photo Club and the Cineworks Annex.

And the Cineworks Annex blurb indicates they offer facilities for developing some types of movie film!

Looked into the West End Photo Club and there is space available at 870 Denman St, Vancouver, BC V6G 2L8 or 604-257-8333. Yearly dues and decent amount to book time.
