Darkroom Not a Storeroom my de-clutter Effort

I built my 5th and final darkroom in a large utility room 6 years back. When I started I thought the answer to everything was lots of shelving. I put in 22 lineal feet of metal rack with birch plywood shelves.

Two years back I received free, delivered a 10 foot Arkay sink, so out went the big 10 feet of shelving.

Now I'm thinking about moving the last of it into an adjoining room.

This will open up a lot of space for easy to reconfigure tables, carts etc

Everything on the shelves is darkroom related, I think I can put up some high wall shelving to replace some of this.

What I should have done was PLAN. This is what I plan to do before I do anything

I suspect I'm not the only one with this problem. Any advice? ??

I think darkrooms should be designed and built to be alterable and changeable. If nothing else, one’s needs change over time. Working methods may change. One may acquire a new price of equipment (sink). No one can design the ultimate everything darkroom from scratch. I’ve tried ...

Well, everything I have is modular , so I will just move the shelving units into another room.

I just have too many toys. It's so much fun. I want tables that are counter height that I can move around etc. I have a 20x24 Calumet archival washer I picked up somewhere for next to nothing , it can stay in another room. It's never been used. The guy I got it from never even pulled the protective paper off the plexiglass dividers. I have an 11 X14 one that I got like that too, except I use that.
