These Dallmeyer's are legendary. This is the sought after early version. No sticky dissimilar metal "Turn For Soft Focus" feature to not work on this one. You simply turn the rear element. And you can go past the 4th notch for extra softness if you like.
This one is in very nice shape with just a tiny bit of seperation up front on the cemented pair. Nothing to hinder performance at all.
I wish I had the flange, but I do not. Never found one for this lens. This is a SOLID investment at $1800. Enjoy it while the numbers keep going up. $4400 for that 4B the other day!!
