I saw two Da Vinci restorations at the internet

Last Supper
Virgin on the Rocks

I dont know you but I find beatiful that faded , cracked , dusted old effect on Last Supper and thick brown shadows of wrong varnish applied 60 years old and become tan.

If someone removes new restorated Da Vinci images from Old images , I think we can reach to nonlinear noise and grades of time effects.

That is the only way I could think but I dont know to separate new red color from old brown color on top of it. May be bw but I dont know ?

As usual - very hard questions, Umut .
Some 7-8 years ago I was in Milan and I saw Last Supper in live. Any use of mobile phones or any devices were strictly forbidden - we were entering in group of 15, and there were like 10 people watching us, and only for 15 minutes.
But even with this - it was a beautiful scene to watch, restoration was done exceptionally.

Minox B is for these days Happy to know you saw a Da Vinci , its better to see a Da Vinci with 15 people comparing to Mona Lisa with hundreds. As far I saw images from internet , I am skeptical , restoration done with big possibilty by mafia members. You know Italy , all the upper class is mafia members.

Agree with you , in ten years , we saw 2 most important da vincis touched , I dont know how do they rape the others.

i am not sure how conservators have "raped" da vinci paintings
the restored paintings i have seen in person
(not da vinci but other notable artists ) do not look like they were "raped" at all but they look beautiful.
and when i saw the mona lisa it was not with hundreds but a handful of people.
