D76 powder bag

In the US we don't commonly have liter and 5 liter packages of any developers but rather have quart and gallon sizes. I prefer the larger sizes since they are cheaper in the long run. I mix the full 3.8 liter / 1 gallon package and then divide the mixed developer into 1 liter brown glass bottles. I mark the date on the side of the bottles. Kodak says 6 months in a full bottle and I've found that to be very conservative. Currently using both Arista 76 and Dektol in this fashion. With the recent surge in Kodak pricing I thought it was time to explore some alternatives. I also have bulk chemicals so that I can conjure up most anything from the recipe excluding glycin and amidol formulas.
