Hello
I found some wittner pxr50 film.
Should be developte like D-94A
I dont know exaktly what the filme bas is but would like to try it.
I have trouble to develop back and white positive so would like to try to do negative development.

What would be good start time with xtol for example?

Regards
Fredrik

Note that DTOD is a difficult and expensive chemical to buy.

hello,

as you noted D-94A is for Kodaks reversal process, and if I understand you right you'd like to develop it as negative in XTOL instead.

That should give very good results for scanning or printing. I never processed Wittner PXR in XTOL, but I did with Kodak Plus-X 7265 and Tri-X 7266.
I've heard somewhere that Wittner PXR is Efke 50, and developing times for that film are listed as 8min @20C stock solution and 10min for 1+1, which sounds about right.

So I would use a test strip with those times, and since it's most likely out of date film stock, I'd give it half a stop more exposure.

hope that helps
