Cyanotypes in Selenium

I had a bath of selenium yesterday so I dumped in a few "rejects" from my attempts at Cyanotypes and Vandykes..

The Cyanotypes turn a gorgeous dark purple in the toner, however they eventually revert in the wash. I tried to underwash one to try to "fix" the color but it didn't work, it turned back when drying...

Anyone tried to "fix" that color before ?

A tutorial on Toning Cyanotypes I haven't tried Selenium; but if you overexpose the Cyanotype, then bleach, re-develop & tone, you can get a wide variety of tones from a simple Cyanotype.
