Is it hard to cut the Mamiya RB screens to fit Rplleiflex 2.8E? I am looking at the type A which seems to be recommended.
Screens are hard enough to handle AND preserve their condition at the same time. One finger touch can ruin surface (I've had some luck using ultrasonic cleaner for grease and heavy dirt). They are far more fragile than meets the eye.
Mamiya RB screens for $35? Major luck or condition you can hardly see through it. $50 , yes common enough and then what, spend $50 and not get what you were shooting for, check what wnet wrong and get another try again? If you already have a screen yo have no use for intended purpose, then maybe. Or, sell it and use money towards the thing.
Sorry, it is possible, it is a super careful handling with proper protection of all surfaces, but there are plenty of screens made to fit with a guarantee too. And you only get one chance to make it work and save. If first one does not do it, you no longer saved anything, likely end up spending far more, as at this point it will likely be what it should have been.
