So I am a member of a local arts organization in southeastern PA (its all arts, but a fair amount of photographers all digital except myself :rolleyes:smile: Anyway a local church in the area was having a community band play a show, and wanted some music related art to display as a fluff, so they asked our organization to display some work. Our largest members only art show is coming up (end of april) so most people didn't have time to get stuff together for the church so only like 5 of us did. I figured I could print some stuff i had around and frame it and no big deal. Well I didn't realize that it was going to be this past sunday, i thought it was this coming sunday! So that saturday (i work with the president of the organization) asked me if i was ready and i almost had a heart attack. So after work I went digging through negs and found what i had, but didnt' really like it. SO i got ambitions and shot a roll of Efke 25 in my room, and took some shots of my trumpet (which came out real nice, love the film) After that I developed. The next morning i woke up early and printed for like 2 hours. Quickly dried and framed them. Then i took them over. Talk about cutting it close! Anyway I had to print RC paper cause i didnt' have time for FB. I got a bunch of expired kodak Polymax RC Art paper. For an RC paper it ain't bad, and for the price i bought it all.

Nice... you got to love RC for quickness. Can dry it with a towel and start the mounting.
I've got an assignment due and I'm waiting for a delivery of paper. It's going to be cutting it close.

Sometimes people are at their best when under pressure.
I hate it when I get the dates mixed up.

"what do you mean our date was last night?"
"but I could swear you said that report was due next Tuesday!"
and the alltime winner:
"TONIGHT!! Aahhh!"

Good job, Ryan.

But, wouldn't "cutting it close" be when the mattes are soggy, and the wash water is still dripping out of the corner of the frame?
