I prefer dye sublimated shirts so the white shirt and black background is necessary.
Not familiar enough with the process to understand why a black t-shirt cannot work, can you explain please?
The ink is dyed into the fabric. They won't crack or peel. Whatever is white on the image will be the color of the shirt. If you used a black shirt the whole image will be black and you won't see anything.
