SOLD-
Selling one of my custom 6x12 conversions with a 65mm f/8 Super Angulon mounted in a focusing helical. The permanently mounted, single coated lens has clean and clear glass that is free of any haze, fungus, scratches, or other damage. The black anodized lens w/ newer copal 0 shutter is solid down to a full second.
The focus mount is indexed at 6, 12, 20 feet and infinity for scale focusing or zone focusing as it’s also referred too. You get six shots per roll of 120 that is advanced via the red inspection window.
My cameras are built to withstand the rigors of professional use with all stainless-steel hardware that is either set in or covered over with a permanent metal epoxy. The Arca Swiss plate is permanently mounted giving protection to the lens and helical during both travel and use. You will need to use a tripod head with an Arca receiver clamp.
The only use of 3D printing is the four 120 film spacers that hold the film in place.
I tried a new rugged external finish that was inspired by a super cool car build of a 1961 Mercedes Ponton called the Ponton63amg. If you are (also) a car person, it’s pretty amazing and worth checking out.
The textured finish looks great and gives the camera a unique look and grippy feel. It seems pretty solid so far, but it may patina over time with use. Being the first time I’ve tried this exterior finish, I’m interested to see how it fairs.
