I owned my Yashica FX 3 with damaged leather and i'd like to replace it with a fur or coarse texture or burlap (yes, i know it seems like a stupid idea
Does anybody have files with curves for cutting parts for camera leather details?

I saw a K1000 that had been recovered in burlap. Looked OK after it was done. After a few weeks of use it was unraveling and covered with greasy filth.

I can't see fur doing much better. At least fur will shed dirt and oil. But it is prone to felting - I don't know a camera covered in short dreadlocks would be a pleasant thing to use.

But then...

I think cutting with a hot knife can help from unraveling  I want to make it more for fun than for permanent use
Fur can be very useful while shooting in winter  I have an experience of filming in cold weather with temperature about -30 C. I got my nose frozen to my camera
