I got 5 rolls of film back a few weeks ago and have been busily scanning it. I'm pretty happy with the results! Here are 3 shots from sunrise at Currumbin on Australia's Gold Coast from 1st January 2014. Let me know what you think!
Thanks guys. I used Velvia 50. I had them developed at a lab in Sydney so can't tell you those details. I scanned them on an Epson V700 scanner here at home.
Rubbish.
Not all of us are fond of trawling through galleries. For most, we only see what we want to see, and no more than we wish, and the OP has shown some excellent, well-thought out and atmospheric work. Image #3 is the very one I would print large and frame for my wall.
I was about to ask how you managed to get decent shadow and highlight details out of RVP, but then I clicked through and saw the 'Lee Filter'.
Very nicely done. I'm just starting out with my 617 DaYi back, if I get anything that good I'd be hanging it on the wall (nothing yet though).
Thanks guys. I didn't know where was best to share my images. I started sharing here as I had only been into film photography for a short time and was hoping to pic up some tips.
