There was at least one community college darkroom and the city of Irvine had a well equipped public darkroom accessible for a simple daily fee. I’m really hoping it reopens at some point this year. There was also at least one privately run public darkroom in LA a few years ago but it was way too far away (and quite expensive) to be practical for me.
