Crystals in My Dektol

Why are their crystals in my Dektol. I have mixed many gallons of it and never had this problem before.

Two quick thoughts. Did you use enough water? Was it warm water?

The crystals should dissolve over time.

I see this happen when the Dektol was not fully dissolved -- the undissolved crystals act as "seeds" and one gets very nice long crystals forming in the jug.

The crystals will not dissolve at room temp, and will only grow bigger. Re-heat to 100F or thereabouts to get them to dissolve.
