Does anyone know reason of this crunch ? This crunch is becoming only when I use big drum 3063 or develop films on low speed. but I can't understand what is the reason of crunch and what is need to be replaced to solve this problem. When I by the machine there was 2 big gear and I try to replace a gear but crunch did not stop. What else will be broken or worn out.

Can you provide more information?

Where does the sound come from? Does the sound occur when the lift is raised and the "teeth" on the cover of the expert tank breaks contact with the gears on the lift? Does the sound occur when the lift is lowered and the teeth re-engage with the gears on the lift? Both of those distracting and loud sounds are completely normal. As noted, more information would be helpful. There are others here who are much more knowledgeable about Jobo machines then am I.

Personally, when I'm using the lift with an Expert drum, I prefer to turn the motor off before raising and lowering it, because there's just a lot of inertia there when you engage the gears together. I worry about wearing the gear teeth down if they don't mesh cleanly.

This sound occur only when 3063 connected to the lift and chemicals added into the drum. whithout chemicals all works normal without any sounds
