Hi,
We have a crown sleever we got from Poland for a great price however it was missing the roll holder attachment.

I was about to post on here for some insight but went full DIY.

sharing for other people as I'd been confused before about it.

The sleever has two nibs on each side and I thought I'd have to get a pipe that fitted around it, holding the sleeve roll in place etc.

That was wrong. In fact the sleevers have the holder sit on top of the nibs to allow clearance for the sleeve roll. In hindsight what a basic mistake!

Measuring the diameter of the sleeve rolls internal opening as 70mm, i then found a 68mm PVC pipe which I cut to 200mm.

put ot through the sleeve role and sat it on top of the nibs and voila.

I consider myself pretty astute at thus sort of thing so having made such a basic error thought it was worth sharing for others as well as to laugh at myself lol

Well done.

Some of these sleevers also have a guide/holder ring on the roll holder attachment to stop the sleeve roll from moving sideways. I'm sure you can rig something up if needed.

Happy sleeving.
