Les,
I’ve just been reading your journal, and would like to correct a misconception if I may, not that it’s caused me a problem in anyway, but it may others, hence this public statement . I do not have any connection to the Crown Monochrome Group, my affiliations lie with the East Midland Monochrome Group – hence the constant plugs from me for that group. My wife and I shall therefore be attending the CMG day, at the end of this month as paying visitors, and have to fight for our seats along with everyone else.
On another tack I have a request of you, if I may. I assume that you will be taking a few of your books to the Crown Monochrome Group event to sell? If so would you please do me the favour of autographing one and bring it with you for me, it’s high time I had a copy to join my photographic library.

Les, Make that two, as I would love a signed copy as well please. Good call Dave, look forward to meeting you both there.

Dave, are you submitting a print? I can't decide if I should or not!

May I have a reminder of who is going to the Crown Monochrome Group's bash next Sunday? I would like an idea of who to look out for.

For the new comers to this forum details may be found at:

Seats still available they say, tickets at the door; which reminds me, where did I put mine?
