I have had a Miniature Speed Graphic since I was a kid, had an older Crown and finally a Super Graphic. I find they are all fun to shoot with and can deliver great images. That said, they really shine when they are used as they were intended, IMHO. Mostly handheld or in a tripod.
+1, I shoot with a monopod, use fast film, Tmax or Delta 400, keep the shutter speed up, slip on filters, lens hood, go where you don't want to take a full view camera and heavy tripod. I have a old WWII vintage Speed, was a Navy Camera, over the years I have broken and took off the rangefinder, still a good field camera, would have taken better care of it if I had known military cameras would be worth something. The Crown is also a early model with the side rangefinder, spring back. It has a little more movement than the Speed, but is crippled compared to a field camera. I also have view camera, use it very little compared to my Crown or Speed.
