This is a very clean camera from about 1960. American made, these were often used as "press cameras" by newspapermen and reporters. Everything is in good working condition. Cosmetically in excellent condition. This would make a great student camera, first large format camera, or nice addition to a collection.

Lens is a Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar lens, made in Germany. Focal length is 135mm and maximum aperture is f/4.7, making it a slightly wide angle lens for 4x5. Rangefinder is working and calibrated to this lens.

Included are three double sided film 4x5 holders in good condition, and a cable release, not pictured.

Price: $450 plus shipping. Paypal or Square cash preferred, cleared check is also okay.

This is a beautiful specimen. Almost no signs of visible wear in the usual places. If I didn't already have two similar Crowns...

Best of luck with this sale.

Dear Paul,
could you please let me know how much will cost shipping to italy? i have a super angulon 65mm 5,6 lens, do you think it could fit and work ok? it could be my first 4x5, coming from 6x6 and 6x9 old folders like Voigtlander bessa II and Zeiss Ikontas and similar, but i'd like to try very wide lenses on large film. The super angulon was bought for a diy project on building a 6x9 wideangle fixed lens or with an helicoid for focusing but it's far from being realized. another question: is it possible to mount a 6x9 rollfilm back and what kind is available for this Crown Graflex? Any choice?
thanks and best regards,
paolo

Shipping to Italy about $60USD.
Re: other lenses, see: http://www.largeformatphotography.info/lenses/LF4x5in.html. Usually lenses wider than 75mm require a recessed lens board, if they fit at all.
Re: 6x9 rollfilm backs. This camera has a Graflok back which is the standard for adding other kinds of backs, such as roll film, but I'm not familiar with them.

this camera can use any rollfilm back made for use with a 4 by 5 graflok back -- there is a wide range made by Graflex and others, Just be sure it says it is for a 4 by 5, ur there.
