Cross Processing "Does anyone have examples they could post"

I was wondering if anyone had any examples of cross processing they could post. I would like to see what types of effects you can get by processing E6 film in C-41 chemicals and vice versa. Maybe someone could recommend a website with such images?

Here's a couple of shots I printed from E100G cross-processed (note that they may look different on your monitor than the actual prints). Most of my info on the subject was gleened from John Callow's (another APUG member) workshop at the APUG conference so he'd be a better person to ask than me.

The quick summary is that you tend to get really saturated colours and very contrasty results. You also tend to get some kind of colour cast which you may be able to correct for while printing or you can correct for it when taking the shot (as I did in all of the above), or for that matter, you might like the effect of the colour cast.

I've tried it a couple of times. Here are samples from my two efforts, both with Kodak Elite Chrome 200:

Note that these are scans done with a film scanner. I did my experiments before I began traditional "wet" color printing, and I haven't gotten around to printing my cross-processed negatives yet. I've heard that scanning tends to minimize the weird color effects that cross-processing produces.

Take a look at JD Callow's gallery here on APUG. I absolutely love his images and, near as I can tell, they are mostly cross processed, E6 film in C41 chemistry. I am the proud owner of a few of his images.

Yes, E-6 film (Kodak E100g) in C-41. Just in case you don't know, E-6 in C-41 will give you negatives without the usual colour mask since it's from a slide film that doesn't have the orange mask. C-41 film in E-6 will give you positives but you'll have the orange mask so will probably be less useful for you.

Thanks to all who have replied. I am starting to get to see whatsome of the effects look like. Looks like I will have to test some E6 film in C41 this weekend.

It will always be a toss up on what to expect from the film and developer. I've shot fuji RVP 64 at 100 twice and had it developed at the same place. On the first roll the colours were pretty accurate and on the second roll everything turned out with varying shades of blue (I didn't use a light correcting filter on the tungsten film when I shot it in daylight both times). I've also shot fuji superia and initially set the ASA dial to 100 then changed my mind halfway through the roll and set it to 200 (I'd have to look up what my exact settings were and how I asked to have it developed). If anything expect colour shifts and an increase in contrast.

The Dead Link Removed was shot using superia and the Dead Link Removedwas shot using the RVP.
