Creating "The APUG camera" ; where are the blueprints?

Surely efforts must have been made in the past to produce a camera of our own, I just can't find any information about it...? We have so many experts around with tons of experience and an even bigger group of enthusiastic amateurs + powerful allied sponsors. When can I go to the store and ask for that "film-using, multi-format and multi-functional camera" i read about in the newspaper?

I would assume it would be something similar to a chamonix.
Mine would be a 2x3 chamonix that had an adaptor that mounted and winded hasselblad backs.

That "film-using, multi-format and multi-functional camera" is called buying three cameras. It's not a one camera job.

You mean a camera that is a SLR, TLR and rangefinder at the same time. Plus it allows for 35mm, medium format and large format. The lens selection shall include extreme wideangles and very fast telephotos, all of them being very compact.

We have to set our goals high. Nobody said it would be easy!
Now we at least know where the blueprints disappeared, they were used by a member in one of his personal projects, this one involving a crapping elephant...

No, no, no, no, no - there can't be "the" APUG camera. There has to be a complete APUG system:

Large format view - something like a Sinar
Large format field - something like a Linhof
Medium format - modular like Hasselblad or Mamiya, maybe Fuji GX680III
35mm large SLR - something like Nikon F4S
35mm small SLR - something like Olympus OM-1
35mm rangefinder - something like Leica M's or Canon 7S
35mm compact rangefinder - something like Canon QL-17
35mm pocketable - something like Olympus XA

Instant - foldable like SX-70

Cine - like Bolex H16 or Beaulieu R16

What a manager would say: "I think we should have all of this built by next year"

For me....

Bring in the metering system from the Nikon F4, the ergonomics of a Pentax 645, the modular capabilities of a Bronica SQ/ETR, and the ability to switch formats (6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7, 6x9, Polaroid Type 100) as a Mamyia Press.

I foresee an amalgam of features. First, it should be a smallish to medium format 5x4 and up sheet film camera. It should be either under 1 kilo or over 20 in weight. It should have four different viewfinders and either be a wind on or insert type camera employing instant wet process film. It should also be along the lines of the new rangefinder/SLR/TLR timer type.

OK. That's settled. Now we need to set up the APUG darkroom.

I'd like an 8x10 thats about the size of a Pen FT. It should also be multi-format.
With all the cool stuff one can do with 3d printing, it should be easy.
