This morning early on the History Channel, History's Mysteries ran a little story about the Cottingly Fairies which were photographs made in the early 20th century by some little girls. The expert featured was Geoffrey Crawley and it was cool to see him in video...Evan Clarke

Crawley debunked the story with a series of articles in the British Journal of Photography, in the 70's or early 80's, the girls had worked as photo retouchers and quite late in life finally admitted the deception.

One of the girls, interviewed as an elderly lady, said she couldn't leave the hoax to her grandaughters!. I am a Crawley fan of sorts and it was interesting to see him in the video...EC
