Hey gang,
I've been doing a lot of alt. printing on Cranes Platinotype the past few weeks and today thought I'd try some Arches Platine.
I am finding that the Cranes is a nice paper, but a little too creamy for my taste. I like the Cranes color, but the prints I'm getting from it are VERY FLAT. Like Grade 0 flat. The same negative on the Arches looks pretty decent. Same solution, same coating, same brush, same humidity, different paper.
VERY different looks.
Any thoughts?
