does anyone if the Cranes Platinotype is buffered i.e. not suitable for cyanotype?

If memory serves, it's unbuffered. I've used a ream of their 100% cotton rag cover stock for cyanotyping, and 4-5 years on it still looks great. I'm not sure if they still have 'platinotype' paper, or call it that anymore, but you could call them and inquire, and order direct from them. Their cover stock feels like double-weight fiber paper.
