Well, sadly, I've tested the new supply of Crane's Cover from New York Central Art Supply. No image. Nada. Evidently they've decided to add buffering agents. Sh*t.
This paper looks like it will need heavy acidification. The sensitizer turned very dark as it dried, and there was no trace of an image. I've seen the same reaction with Lenox that used to be a decent paper. I acidified Lenox and barely got an image. Not worth the trouble or the expense of testing further. Crane's obviously wrote off platinum printers.
I have other papers that work. So the heck with it.
