Cradles for ULF film?

I am just wondering if any of the cradles (Sumiteck, Formulary, etc.) are made for ULF film?

If not, any plans out there for making them?

Not aware of any, but it's not rocket science to DIY. I've built a couple of sloshers for 4x5 film - a six sheet model for use in 11x14 trays, and a 2 sheet model that fits into my 8x10 trays. It would be relatively simple to configure a 2-sheet model for, for example, 5x12 film that fits into an 11x14 tray.

I think the greatest concern would be to make sure that the barriers are open enough to allow fluid to flow freely between compartments. The barriers in 4x5 models tend to be solid, with gaps at the corners. If I were building a 5x12, I think I would include several notches along the bottom of the barriers.

a DIY craddle is not that difficult. I used 2mm hard plastic and a 20mm wide drill bit. you can glue the pieces together with a soldering iron.

Yes, my 8x10 slosher from PF has notches along the bottom of the barriers and in the corners - this alows the chemistry to flow freely from compartment to compartment.

I made one out of Plexiglass with thickened acrylic adhesive a couple years ago to develop 2 sheets of 8x20 film in a 16x20 tray. I basically followed the Summitek design and I think it took about an hour or so to complete. I'm planning on making one for 7x17 since Richard Ritter almost has my new camera ready.
