The Pacifica Chapter of the Center for Photographic History and Technology (CPHT) and our partnership with the LightBox Photographic Gallery will present an incredible group of Alternative Process Photographers in a Symposium in Astoria this September. We invite you to join us September 12 thru the 14th and be part of a very special weekend!
The 2014 Northwest Symposium for Alternative Process Photography is a weekend of exhibits, presentations, networking and sharing with alternative process photographers from around the nation.
Featuring Keynote Speaker:
Mark Osterman - Process Historian at George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and Film in Rochester, N.Y.

We are very proud to bring this amazing group of artists and technicians to Astoria and LightBox for a full weekend of alternative process photography, sharing, learning, networking and fun. Beginning Friday evening September 12th with a pre-opening reception just for symposium attendees to "Altered Views", an exhibit of alternative process photography juried by S. Gayle Stevens, followed Saturday and Sunday by two days full of presentations and sharing with our six illustrious presenters. A full weekend of discussion groups, opportunities to share you work, and a print trade event.
