yep, title says it all. I fired up my cpa-2 today and found it was only spinning the tank in one direction, continuously, not stopping. seems like the little white clicker thing next to the cog got knocked off its track or something.

anyone? ..

It seems to me that inversion happens when the chicken claw is past its second "finger" i.e. you have to turn it quite well inside until it makes a clear "tick" noise.

Other than that, I would try to turn the screw on the axis of the chicken claw. If memory serves it regulates the inversion frequency, maybe it has an end-of-run position which makes no inversion at all.

The chicken claw is un-screwed.
Stop the processor, position the claw correctly and tighten the screw. Things should return to normal.

ahh... not working, i am probably doing it wrong.

does anyone have a photograph of the position the chicken claw should be in? I move it until i hear the click, and whenever I tighten it a little bit it just gets too tight and gets stuck.

would contacting jobo by phone do me any good? does anyone repair the machines in the US?

The chicken claw should move very easily.

In case you need support, you can reach me via Skype: FotohuisRobert
Mobile is also possible via my website. Time zone: GMT+1.
Support in the USA via Omega Satter. But I doubt they have much experiences. I am trained by Jobo for the CPX-2 machines. Also for developing problems.

First click still go. Second click the machine must stop and reverse. It could be also the micro switch.

Try contacting Dave Smith at 1-323-227-1869 and leave a message. He is in Los Angeles but is a Jobo trained repair person ith parts. Great to talk to and very helpful and knows the equipment. May have parts if you need some. The email is joboman@aol.com. Hope this helps.
