For us as a small manufacturer of films, photopapers and photochemicals this pandemic is a huge challenge. On different levels: Getting the needed raw materials, production, R&D of new products, safety and health of our employees, global distribution.
Our mission is to serve you as our customers as good as possible in these very difficult times.
We have taken a lot of precautions, separating the factory physically and splitting the team in shifts to minimize human interaction. Naturally, this slowed things down a lot - and some projects, like the paper coatings, stalled completely. Our coating machine is in Switzerland, and we cannot put our employees at risk by traveling back and forth between Berlin and Marly.
The Scala reversal kit is ready to go - but we are yet to get the boxes shipped. Some other chemistry is waiting to be produced because of raw materials’ extended shipping times. Teamwork on certain things has been postponed too. Nevertheless we are working extremely hard to get as much as possible done.
Our collegues from Fotoimpex are also working very hard, too. And they do all what is currently possible to ship your orders worldwide.
