Here is a link to a new development from Hitachi, the Japanese electronics company. They have developed a glass memory device that is suppose to last a million years. No film can do that nor can any CD. Read about it here...

Show me a computer that can retrieve my Seattle Film Works images off of a MFM hard drive. Luckily, I have the negatives.

It won't kill analog but it will help the digiatals out a lot.

I won't scan analog, makes no sense to convert a perfect image to a lesser form of life.

Yeah, Mono, Hi Fi, Reel to Reel, 8-Track, Cassetes, 24 track, DAT recorders, Beta, VHS, CDs, Blue Ray, MP3s, JPEGs... never change, right?
