Go to the Family Dollar and get a cooler bag case. 2 dollars.
I drive a 1968 Camaro Convertible I restored with all brand new genuine GM sheet metal. Zero rust. Zero bondo. Had the car since Feb 1974. My Nikkormat is more than adequate, and Family Dollar is much better than going to the human zoo called Wallyworld. Besides, I have a Retina IIa. Ha!
Absolutely dead serious.
I gave exactly such a bag to the charity shop last year. It was faux leather but otherwise precisely as you describe. Yellow felt interior and matching dividers with a lockable clasp. Undoubtedly pretty, but an instrument of torture to carry for any length of time. It came full of Canon prime lenses for some absurdly small sum, in that brief period between film being dead and living exotica. (c2007 - 2010)I'd like to fine a hard leather camera bag with the clasp like they made in the 50's and '60's. Preferably stamped "Genuine Rawhide Leather", just to offend the PC types. I think it will be all the rage. Very stylish.
Man, a Baccaruda. Super Bad.
Edit after post 12: I have a stupid question. What good is a lenshood with those 3 big open slits in it that I see on Leicas?
Subjects jump into focus for the most interesting man in the world.
I've been looking around for a better bag for my M2 and M4 and this one was suggested by several different people. It seems a mite expensive for what it is; however, and it would be hard to justify that cost. I mean, a bag's a bag.
