I received (along with a Kodak Baby Brown Special camera) a Correx developing tank yesterday. It looks so nice and clean. Almost blemish free except for a tiny mark on top. It even looks that it wasn't used. No watermarks or signs of wear. None of the familiar chemical smell associated with well-used tanks.
The tank itself seems to be made of heavy Burgundy coloured bakelite. It looks breakable too. It has a reel inside which I first assumed to be for 120 but it turned out a bit narrower. I think it's for 127. Would have been perfect for the old film inside the Brownie, but the 127 apron wasn't included. But these items were not from the same eBay seller. The Correx's seller didn't even describe what the tank fully.
I can't really use the Correx. I was expecting it to have a 35mm reel, which would have worked fine with my 35mm celluloid aprons/belts. Am I missing something here? Would anyone know if the Correx reel can be adjusted for narrower aprons/films?
Also I'd be interested to know when these tanks were made.
