I'm just starting to use my newly acquired dry mount press, and want to clarify what the proper material is to mount the print on.

I see 2, 4, and 8 ply "museum board" listed by Archival Methods...is that the stuff? If not, can somebody point me to it?

Thanks!

Rolfe,
Mount to 2 or 4 ply acid free and use window cover mats from 4 or 8 ply. Bright white for traditional black and white and color and natural white for warm tones. I used to mount many of my prints but only now if requested. I have gone to corners because if something happens to the mounting board it's a problem. Get a sample of their boards and cut a "L". That way you can see what color a print looks best with.

Thanks Jeffrey,

Looks like I got the right stuff -- just wanted to be sure!
