Hi,

when using pro negative film what do you use to get a correct colour rendition. i know with trannie A macbeth or kodak colour patch is the norm but what about a colour negative.........

Just as with any chrome...I shoot the first frame in all fashion, model, and copy work with a MacBeth and a grey card. This allows me to colour correct the roll (assuming that I shot the whole roll in the same lighting condition, i.e. studio)

Even if the lighting condition varies frame to frame, I still do this, to get the ballpark correction numbers.
