I haven't used copper in a very long time, and I've forgotten how to print for it.....

On fiber paper (Ilford warmtone to be precise) I'm thinking that copper toning lightens the print and increases contrast slightly when split toned. Am I remembering correctly? Thanks in advance.

Your memory serves you well Cheryl, copper toning bleaches prints. As a starting point make the untoned prints about 15% darker. The toned print may have a scum left on the surface but it is easily removed by wiping with a paper towel while in a tray of fresh water.
