Do I understand correctly that you can reload those holders yourself and use them again and again?

I'm confused, can someone explain to me, the advantage of buying this product, to be used with a Polaroid 545 holder, in what type of camera?

It still needs to be developed, so to use it in my 4x5 Speed.. it has no advantage, just more expensive, as I can shoot the same film in my standard 4x5 holders.
So it being available, is for some other type of use, and wonder what that might be that gives the shooter a 'freedom' he would not normally have.

It's like a quickload/readyload - ie you can carry several different films ready to use without the bulk or dust of conventional DDS holders. However, that convenience has to be balanced against the significant costs of the prepacked film. You can't reload the packs after use.

I understand that normal ReadyLoad type films ( R.I.P. ) weren't reloadable, but the OneShot page contains this line: "Each sheet film is attached to a focal plane flat tongue that can be re-used, if desired." So if not reloadable, in what way would you be re-using the tongue?

oops, didn't read that - I'd be interested to see how many times it can be reloaded before failing. If it's as good as claimed it would certainly push me in the direction of tracking down a Quadra 72

I sorta get the "bulk savings" of not having to carry a bunch of film holders but....$14.40/sheet for Portra 400??? I'd have to be pretty sensitive to carrying a few film holders to even consider paying that much.

But if it is reusable with regular film, that $14.40 can be thought of as $4.40 for the sheet and $10 for the "readyload" film holder.
Are the film holders available separately?

The film wil be stuck to the tongue with a little bit of tape. When you remove the exposed negative a new sheet can be fixed in the same way. I woud think.
