Which do you find more relaxing? Cooking a meal or processing photographic material. I can’t decide, as I find the relaxation factor very similar.

I do both and I find cooking more relaxing. But I find print processing more relaxing than processing my film.

I do both but never at the same time. I scrub down the kitchen and the sinks after each. Printing is done in the den-dry darkroom and one bathroom.

The food is tastier but the film looks better. Both are very relaxing. Currently cooking a mushroom ragout while wondering if a should develop my FP4+ and HP 5 rolls in XTOL 1:1 or Rodinal 1:50.

today I did both at the same time in my kitchen. prepared a bolognese sauce and then processed a roll of film (neopan in xtol 1+1) while the sauce simmered.

I'd rather print than develop film. I cook mostly because eating out is too expensive and less healthy. I develop film so I have something to print. Though I do sometimes "cheat" and send it out.

I often did both at the same time, processed films while cooking, safely apart. I actually find film processing boring and it's second nature, where as I love printing and enjoy cooking.

I would rather process as it produces something long lasting. I don't like the idea of spending longer cooking a meal than it takes to eat it!
