hi, has anyone used a contax tla 200 flash on a nikon f100 slr?
it seems to be the smallest flash to use, smaller than the sb400.

thanks,

I've used the 200 on some of my manual-focus Nikons w/no problems.

Never used one in a Nikon as I prefer the 140 to the 200 as the flash is higher and less prone to over exposure and red eye. But I use the 140 mostly on my G2. For my Contax SLRs I use the 20 or 30. Since the 200 has no sensor itself like the 30 has I cannot imagine it firing at anything but full. And being a light so low you might run into same issue many Contax users complain of.

With so many classic Nikon flashes going so cheaply at KEH and you get TTL why use the Contax TLA200?

it seems like the smallest option for portability.

hmmm one friend just said it fried his 5d... i suppose it could potentially fry an f100?

the sb-18 is probably twice the height, thanks though
