If I am not mistaken, Kyocera's website reads: Unless you have a Contax 645, Kyocera will no longer service any Contax cameras that are over 10 years old.
Well, my G2 is over ten years old and the autofocus is inoperative. I have an email into Kyocera for clarification, but if they will not perform any service, what are my options? I bought a green label G1 as a back-up in the event the G2 was out of commission for a while (last service from Kyocera took months and with zero communication, to the point I was sure my camera was in a shop window in Kowloon), but even the G1 will need help eventually.
Any ideas or contacts would be helpful.
