For sale: Beautiful Contax 137 MD Quartz w/Yashica ML 50/1.7 lens.
The camera body is in excellent condition, with only a small amount of brassing on the camera body around the tripod socket. It has recently been recovered in black leather, and the body seals and mirror damper have both been replaced. It is clean inside and out, (focus screen, mirror, viewfinder, etc) and all mechanical and electronic functions are working as they should.
The lens is mechanically sound, with a snappy, oil-free aperture, and is cosmetically excellent. However, there is a small amount of fungus around the periphery of the front element
, but nothing that will affect image quality. However, it should be cleaned before it spreads any further.
I will also include an RMC Tokina 35-105mm zoom in C/Y mount that is in usable condition, but has what appears to be a mechanical issue. The interior element comes into contact with the inside of the front element, and this has left a circular abrasion on the inside of the front element. This doesn't seem to affect focus or image quality; however, this lens should be considered a "throw-in".
