I'm looking for members that might be interested in a photo walk or get together in New Haven County or the surrounding area. Trying here first because Connecticut is technically part of New England.

Not just technically. Comparing eastern and western CT, however, one might be forgiven if they were to see a bit of the Middle Atlantic States creeping in. What do you have in mind?

I don't know, I'm open to suggestions. Maybe an AA format meeting over coffee. Hi, I'm Shaun, and I'm a filmaholic. Or, we all get some sort of Bison helmets like Fred Flinstone. Or just meet at a scenic place and shoot.

Nice, Bethe, but "One size fits most adults" has never been even close on this squash of mine.
I think The Beefallo, Buffalo, Bison Band of Photographic Aficionados has a nice ring to it. BBBBPA No motto yet, gotta work on that.

If I find a hat I promise to wear it for portraits. If anyone else finds one, they have to pose first. I think Gene would look great in horns, striking a noble pose over the broad Conn. River at Springfield.

This could get out of hand quickly, if it hasn't already.

If you guys figure out where and when this cabal of New England conspirators will meet, would you let a New Yorker attend?? Gene, you've taught me the secret handshake, I met Bethe in Springfield, and I've had some laughs with Whitey, so...pretty please???

Oh shaun/shawn/sean (I've already forgotten) I'm still free tomorrow per our conversation, though I have to take care of some car issues first (my back window has been broken) so if you're still free tomorrow I may be able to get together, I'll let you know tomorrow when I know more about the window.

OK, now it's officially out of hand– the Council has been invoked. Put your hats in your laps and act like you're just petting the nice shaggy puppy. Don't, under any circumstances, mention the decoder rings.

And John, you are always welcome in CT. We even let people from NJ come occasionally. That thing about a wall around New England is only a myth–or a fond dream, as the case may be. I, myself, having retreated north to MA for the last 40 years, am allowed to come back summers as long as I don't speak with a Baaaston accent.

Yea most of the walls are made of stone (not me) that the property owners used to designate their property lines, but they are dead and gone... but the walls are really good for B&W  hmm maybe I'll do a book of New England Walls

So Council is just another name for Admin except it's to make them feel special... but really it's a trick to make them do free work... hehe

The Council is a small cabal of 'puggers who have magical powers that can weed out heretics, trolls, and members who never bathe. We chant together in a Kumbaya chorus that has sworn allegiance to the Great Yellow Father, and his cousins in England and the Slavic countries. and to extol Dektol. Be very afraid lest our Council mascot, Rex the Wonder Dog, show up at your home and bite your bippy with his dog teeth should you warrant biting. You know who you are, you reprobates....repent!! All....well most...er...maybe some will be forgiven!!

maybe some will be forgiven!!

Those who bring the best beer to gatherings are known to be forgiven the fastest.

And now that we've beaten this horse into the ground, let's get back to the original point... Is there going to be a gathering in south-central CT in the near future or are we going to wait for BACK TO THE BEACH, part 4 ––that will happen sometime in late June?

Hey Whitey and Co.!

God, how I miss New England! I keep clicking my shutter with closed eyes but...when I open them, I'm still here!
