I purchase chemicals and supplies from both Bostick and Sullivan and the Photographers Formulary. However, recent price comparisons have revealed chemical name differences that have me confused about the Palladium solution that each place sells. B&S lists theirs as Sodium Chloropalladite and PF lists theirs as Sodium Tetrachloropalladate. My high school chemistry was way too many years ago to know what the difference is (if any). The books I've looked at don't seem to say anything about this, so are these two actually the same thing, or if they are different, what might the performance differences be?
If they are the same, B&S is noticably cheaper.
