I've been on APUG since the first year. I shoot 35mm and 8x10 and many sizes in between. I make my own salt prints. I participated in the Pyro Wars. I communicated with both Jay and Sandy. I remember Aggie and the oo.

I have bought a Nikon D850. Yes, a digisnapper, thus the sin. At least it is f-mount so I can easily use my 1960s lenses. And I have a plate to mount the body on my Norma and use my inch denominated LF lenses. Are those the photo equivalent of an Our Father and Hail Mary?

I think you'll get pretty soft results with many (not all) large format lenses on a 35mm sensor camera. They'll also be very long. What are you going for with that?

It's no sin to shoot digital, use what works for you.

Are you intentionally trying to stir the pot? According to one of our esteemed moderators, "All photography is vaild." Live and let live!

If you say three, "Hail Ansels" you'll be absolved.
You can also enhance the chance of getting into that Great Darkroom in the Sky, by combining D850 images and your salt prints. "He" loves tinkerers.
"Praise Ansel!"

3 Our fathers and self-flagellation with an original Nikon F leather strap. Then move on. D850 probably the best DSLR ever for us old film addicts.
D850 fits onto the original gangsta PB-4 bellows, use the slide copier to digitize your films.
Get your DSLRs while you can.
Film us lovely, Digital is lovely.

I could be wrong, but I think that may make you more of a heretic than a sinner .
