Unless things have changed since 2003, I agree with the poster above, your bigger concern is getting back into the US. My wife and I went to Canada in 2003 and had absolutely no problem getting into Canada, but the US immigration guy at the Montreal airport really gave us a hard time about getting back in. We had voting registration info, someone had told us that it would work as proof of citizenship, but he didn't like it one bit. He did let us in after basically humiliating us for a few minutes, but I would personally never take that chance again.Flauvius said:Both consulates told me that Canadian customs will not accept my photo copy of my expired U.S. passport and renewal application.

My problem is that I have yet to receive my re-newed U.S. Passport and the Canadians will not accept of photo copy of my expired U.S. Passport. So, are
registration refunds being offered for those of us who are not able to enter Canada?
