Condensation on Refrigerated Paper-Safes

This posting has made me consider buying a paper-safe or two.
Because my darkroom has no cooling, it gets hot in summer, so I refrigerate my paper. After pulling out a box of paper, I let it sit for 30+ minutes to come up to temperature. The box and interior plastic bag prevent condensation from forming on the paper (AFAIK). That leads to my question:
Will condensation form on paper in a paper-safe that's been pulled out of a refrigerator? If so, will keeping the paper face-down so that the emulsion stays dry prevent this condensation from being problem? Or is it even a problem?

How could that be?
In a closed safe the air inside will be the same as before, but the casing is being warmed up now.


The contrary situation exists for the air in the room. Here a cooler surface is introduced now.

A paper safe is not air-tight. It doesn't have to be. I think it's only useful for paper you are using in the near future and should be kept at room temperature.
If I was worried about the temperature of my paper, I'd split up full boxes into smaller packages that could come out of the fridge/freezer - and not go back in.

The refrigerator is a humid environment. Paper, out of a sealed container or package, will likely absorb some moisture. For RC paper, this probably wouldn't be much of an issue. A paper safe being colder than the dew point of the new warm environment will form condensation. Whether it forms enough on the inside to be a problem, you will have to find out by trying it.
