I work in 35 mm B&W film, and I have printed exclusively Ilford Multigrade RC paper. These are the liquids I use:
Developer: Ilford Multigrade, 1:9, for 1.5 minutes.
Stop: Kodak Max Stop 1:15, for 30 seconds.
Fixer: Tetenal Superfix Plus, 1:9, for 5 minutes.
Now, I am going to print also with Ilford Multigrade FB paper. Could you recommend me the correct concentration and times for these liquids or for others that you prefer? The only thing I do not want to change is the paper, as I like Ilford and my RH Designs Analyser Pro is already calibrated for Ilford papers.
Thanks,
Henry.

And a second fixing bath - same dilution. Put your pint the first 2.5 minutes in the first bath and then 2.5 minutes in the second bath. When the first bath gets exhausted, use your fixing second bath as the first bath and make a new second fixing bath. This way you will be shure your prints are adequatly fixed.

Isn't 5 mins in fixer way over what Ilford recommend with its fixer? I wonder why Tetenal needs 5 mins? The problem as I understand it with FB is that it is critical to keep fixer times as short as possible to avoid the problem of removing it from FB.

If Tetenal says 5 mins then so be it, I suppose, but as the dilution is 1+9 as it is with Ilford then it makes me wonder why Tetenal needs as much as 5 mins.

I have standardized the development of Ilford FB on 2:30 based on testing the paper and measuring the density reached with a densitometer. It does'nt get much better with longer development.
To be honest, I don't always adhere strictly to the standard; if for instance the developer gets older the paper benefits from a one minute boost. In short, trust your eyes and don't overdo the standardizing.
