Componon 60mm f5.6

Does anyone know if these lenses were always the WA (wide angle) design? I've seen newer ones in the black finish that are, but what about the older ones with the silver metal finish?

Older ones- black and chrome are not WA. I have the black one and it is only for 24x 36 or little more. The lens is sharp, but contrast is lower comparing with rodagons.

Thanks for the advice, kobalthus, I appreciate it. I had hoped that was the case - I did not need the WA design, just a straight forward 60mm lens.
