I'm setting up my "new" Bronica SQ-A for its first outing. I have both the 80mm f/2.8, and the 150mm f/4 lenses. I found a Bronica compendium lens shade for the SQ along with the 67mm filter.

The scale on the compendium bellows only goes down to 150 mm. I did a "view test" with the compendium mounted on the 80mm, focused at minimum, and couldn't see my finger inserted past about 1.5". I know this isn't the best of tests, but will the compendium shade be alright with the 80mm lens? I'm also aware that the viewfinder is only around 94% of the total film area.

Dennis - You sure that mark isn't actually "50", not "150"? I have the same hood (I believe there is only one version for the SQ series) and there is a hash mark in front of the 50 and 80, which you might be seeing as a "1".

The scale on mine reads from left to right: "50", "80", and "105-250>".

BINGO! Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

Yes, that's a hash mark and not "180". That's what comes from not using my reading glasses!

Thanks for the response!
